It’s great during these times for the kids to have a little something such as a project to work on with the camera that will help lift the mood! Therefore, our theme for this photo competition is "THE LOCKDOWN LIFT". We are asking you to take pictures of some of the more positive aspects of lockdown

About the Event
We are asking you to take pictures of some of the more positive aspects of lockdown. This might be capturing some of the beautiful landscapes that you see while exploring outdoors, or maybe you can capture a nice moment with your loved ones that means something special to you.
PRIZES:
The lucky winner will receive:
- £50 in cash
-The National Geographic Guide to Photography book for kids
- A photography shoot with talented professional photographer Daisy Barnard (profile below), who will give some hints, tips and professional advice to our budding photographers looking to learn more
- Professional editing of your winning photo by Daisy Barnard which you can keep!
HOW TO ENTER:
Email your photo to with your/your child’s name age and the name of/inspiration behind their photograph: weareglimmer@gmail.com or
If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, post on your own page and tag to the glimmer page (@ Glimmer events Jersey) adding the hashtag #glimmerlockdownlift
Entries can be submitted as many times as you wish.
CLOSING DATE:
The closing date for the competition is mid-night on 28th February 2021.
Recommended for kids age 7 -16 resident in Jersey, Channel Islands. By entering this competition, you confirm that you are the owner of the image and are happy for Glimmer Events to share and use the image in any future promotional material.
